The Hidalgo County Manager’s Office is currently accepting applications for one (1) full-time, temporary position of Road Equipment Operator for the Road Department. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Two (2) years of equipment operation experience preferred. The Hidalgo County Central Dispatch Center is accepting applications for a Full Time Temporary Dispatcher Position. Applications may be picked up and returned to the Hidalgo County – County Managers Office at 305 Pyramid Street Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm. Applications may also be obtained and completed on line at www.hidalgocounty.org website. Applicants must be able to operate multiple phone lines, multiple radio frequencies, proficient with computers, have proficient typing skills and the ability to multi task is a priority.
