Casual Right-of-Way Research Specialist
The Hidalgo County Manager’s Office is accepting applications for the position of a Casual Right-of-Way Research Specialist, to conduct research on County Roads. A casual employee is an employee who is called on a short notice or on an occasional basis for a short period of time or an employee who works less than twenty (20) hours per week. This position pays $10.00 an hour and the deadline to submit applications is Friday, March 2, 2012. Project Specialist
The Program Specialist reports to the CHI Program Coordinator and is responsible for assisting with planning, policy and program development, outreach and technical assistance, fulfilling grant and contract obligations of CHI in support of community health and development projects. The Program Specialist will meet the goals and objectives of the program in a collaborative and coordinated role with CHI staff and Board, team members and other internal and extenal HMS partners.

Hidalgo County Central Dispatch/Full Time Dispatcher
The Hidalgo County Central Dispatch Center is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Dispatcher. Applications may be picked up and returned to the Hidalgo County - County Managers Office at 300 Shakespeare Street Monday thru Friday from 9am to 5 pm. Applicants must be able to operate multiple phone lines, multiple radio frequencies, be proficient with computers, have proficient typing skills and the ability to multi-task is a priority.
