Banta, David C
born about 1866.
His parents were Rufus Banta of Ohio and M Cushon of Indiana. David was born in Iowa. He married Irene Jacobs of Iowa and they had three children at the time of the 1910 census. Ralph, Ross, and Ruth, all born in Louisiana. They homesteaded 320 acres in 1909 and again in 1925.
